WorldNetDaily is now saying that Bush is giving Syria a non-negotiable deadline for withdrawing from Syria. Does this mean that hostilities are imminent or that its just business as usual in the middle east with threats flying left and right?

I’m sure I don’t know, but the general trend in the region is hopeful. The Israeli separation from the Palestinians, the demands of the Lebanese that the Syrians withdraw, at long last, from their country, and the beginnings of true democracy in Iraq and Afghanistan could mean that peace breaks out instead of war.

I certainly hope that the Islamofascists, in the death throes of their regimes, do not force a bloody war on the world.
